The 1D Boys Play With The Pros

Looks like the boys of One Direction had a little fun in the sun today while out on their European tour!  While in Madrid, Spain, Liam, Louis, and Niall stopped in at a Real Madrid training session to play a little football with the professional team!  (In America, we refer to this sport as Soccer, but in Europe they call it football…They don’t play a sport like our football here in America!…It can get a little confusing!)

 

The boys were given the team’s white jersey for practice so they could blend in with the big guys!   They also had time to hang out with the team and speak with the famous player Cristiano Ronaldo and well-known coach Jose Mourinho.

 

The boy’s tour will be performing in Madrid this Friday and Saturday before they wrap up their European Tour and head back to North America in the beginning of June!  We can’t wait!

 

This afternoon, Niall immediately took to Twitter to share his excitement over this experience with the fans, and tweet these cool pictures! Here’s what he said:

 

“Up there with some of the best days of my life! Training with Real Madrid !dreams are made of that stuff”

“Massive thank you on behalf of me and the lads to Real Madrid,Jose mourinho ,all the players! Unbelievable experience”

“All the players were really nice to us! And the gaffer I like to call him mr . Mourinho! still can’t believe it! Vamos Madrid”

And here are the boys with Sergio Ramos, who tweeted:

“Today I met @OneDirection guys. A great picture with them. Greetings!!”

 

Looks like Niall, Liam, and Louis had a lot of fun!  We wish we could be there!!!!  We wonder if they boys are good at football (soccer)?!

Liam Payne Misses Home!

Aw! One Direction’s Liam Payne said in an recent interview that he misses his hometown in England! “I miss my hometown a lot. We were pulled out of our homes after The X Factor and didn’t realize we may not be going back,” Liam said. Liam also talked about all the things he used to do while he was there, “I really like going into the town center, shopping and doing things like sitting on the sofa and watching Friends. I’d even like to go back to school for a day.” We hope Liam gets to go to visit again soon!
